MOTION

CONCEPTUAL

This project began as a time-constrained poster for an Adobe Creative Jam themed “Unplugged.” The concept explored presence and disconnection in response to constant digital engagement and was later expanded into Anti-Digital Society, testing how the idea could scale into a broader cultural and campaign framework while maintaining conceptual clarity.

Challenge

Constraint and Focus

Time and format defined the initial scope. Rather than exploring multiple interpretations, the poster focused on a single, direct idea that could be understood immediately.

As the project expanded, the original constraint informed how far the concept could grow, ensuring the shift in framing did not introduce unnecessary complexity or dilute the core idea.

Solution

Design Approach

The work uses restrained typography, composition, and negative space to emphasize absence rather than activity. Visual elements were intentionally limited to reinforce the transition from a single “Unplugged” moment into a broader anti-digital framing without relying on overt messaging.

Restraint remained a guiding principle as the concept evolved.

Post-Competition

Concept Expansion

Following the initial poster, the idea was extended into two additional posters and a set of campaign mockups. The expansion tested how the Anti-Digital Society concept could scale across multiple executions while maintaining consistency and conceptual clarity.

Additional pieces focused on:

  • Translating the original “Unplugged” idea into a broader cultural framing

  • Preserving visual restraint as the system expanded

  • Exploring how the concept could exist within a campaign context
